According to the report, Vijay's character in the movie will be named Thalapathy Vettri Kondan, and he’ll sport a tattoo with the initials 'TVK' on his hand. For context, Vijay’s political party is called Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, which shares the same initials—TVK. If this turns out to be true, the film will serve as a symbolic homage to Vijay’s political journey.
However, these details remain unconfirmed, and the final confirmation is still awaited from the filmmakers. Jana Nayagan is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal festivities next year.
Recently, a glimpse of Vijay surfaced from Kodaikanal, where he was seen filming for Jana Nayagan. In the video, the actor waved to his fans from his car while they mobbed his vehicle. He also appeared to have a leaner physique, possibly for his role in the film. The excitement around the movie is palpable, especially as it marks Vijay’s final appearance on the big screen.
